River Rhyme.

By the river Severn
I counted to eleven
And by the river Torridge
I ate a bowl of porridge

By the river Tees
I washed my dirty knees
And on the river Lune
I sang a little tune

By the river Gipping
I couldn’t keep from skipping
And by the river Thame
I had to do the same

I swam the river Rother
Without the slightest bother
But as I crossed the Dee
I got washed out to sea!

The little car.

The little car was feeling sad
He'd run right out of fuel
And so he made himself feel glad
By eating loads of gruel.

And then he drove around the town
And over hill and dale
And round and round in circles
Until he caught his tail.

Happy's here to stay.

This is Mr Happy
He's a little clown
And when he plays the mandolin
He does it upside down.

Mr Happy's happy
He's dancing in the hay
And sings a little song for us,
Called Happy's here to stay.
